The brief
An international premium brand urgently needed a temporary Menswear CAD Technician after losing a team member mid-season. The ideal candidate required strong Adobe Illustrator skills, exceptional attention to technical detail, and proven experience across menswear multi-product. Immediate availability and the ability to deliver production-ready tech packs were essential.
The process
Create activated its design network to identify three qualified CAD technicians with relevant menswear experience. After assessing technical portfolios and availability, we presented a shortlist to the client that balanced skill and budget. A candidate was placed same-day, has since become a valued freelancer, and continues to work ad-hoc.
